Beach parasols don't suit us.
Even though I was going to spend time in the sea, I guess I was thinking like that somewhere in my head. Then let's make a place where we want to avoid the sun, so this was built by Kawanan's Katsu-chan and Test Riders Toshi. This secret base, with driftwood as a pillar, I took palm leaves that had grown somewhere on the roof.

When there were waves, we all got together and had a lively barbecue, and had fun with beer and wine with freshly picked seafood. However, after a few years, I caught the attention of the administration and encountered the sadness of dismantling.
In those days, if I went there, there was always someone there, and I could hear the sound of Aoki-kun's guitar from the test rider, and there was a cold beer in the cooler box. This is exactly "Shonan Paradise", you laughed a lot. Once Toshi said that Jack Johnson wanted to shoot here, and Jack really came and filmed. About 20 years ago, it was a time when Jack was not yet known to the world. It was also the time when the surfing boom came back.
I'm sure such a wonderful place will never happen again in Kamakura, where I lived. Looking at this picture, I feel somehow nostalgic for that time.
I rarely ride the waves in this place anymore, but at that time, I shared the best waves with everyone, and when I was tired, I was comfortably drunk with a cold beer under the roof of the palm leaves, took a break, and headed to the sea again. You've been having the best time just being there all day.
By the way, everyone called this place "Fujiko".
Those who know why I called it that should know.
It's the best naming.
